GreenCredit ("GreenCredit," "we," "us," or "our") is a financial education membership platform available at greencredit.ca and portal.greencredit.ca. GreenCredit is not a lender, financial institution, credit bureau, or credit repair organization of any kind.

We do not use your information for automated credit decisions, credit scoring, or any lending-related purpose.
We collect and process your personal information in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). By enrolling in a GreenCredit membership, you provide express consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this policy.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting hello@greencredit.ca, subject to legal or contractual obligations that may prevent immediate deletion of certain records.
By completing enrollment, you expressly authorize GreenCredit to initiate an Instant Bank Verification (IBV) on your bank account through our approved providers Inverite and/or Flinx. This authorization permits read-only access to your bank account data for the purposes of identity verification, income verification, and confirmation of your bank account details for payment processing and e-Transfer delivery. Your banking credentials are never stored by GreenCredit. The IBV process does not permit GreenCredit to move, withdraw, or transfer funds from your account.
By completing enrollment, you provide express consent under CASL to receive commercial electronic messages from GreenCredit by email and SMS, including:
This consent applies to both email (SendGrid) and SMS (Heymarket) and is provided knowingly and voluntarily as part of enrollment.
We share your information only with the following providers as necessary to operate the membership:

We do not sell Member data to any third party. All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active and for a minimum of seven (7) years following the end of your membership to comply with applicable Canadian tax and financial record-keeping requirements, or as otherwise required by law.
Contact hello@greencredit.ca to exercise any of these rights. We respond within 30 calendar days.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Payment processing is handled by Zumrails using bank-grade encryption. If you become aware of any security concern related to your account, contact hello@greencredit.ca immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email. Continued use of GreenCredit following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The current version is always available at greencredit.ca/privacy-policy.
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the membership relationship between GreenCredit ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operated at greencredit.ca and portal.greencredit.ca, and the individual completing enrollment ("Member," "you," or "your").
By completing enrollment โ including identity verification, Instant Bank Verification, and submission of your membership application โ you confirm that you:
GreenCredit provides financial literacy education content through a paid membership program. Upon enrollment, Members gain access to educational courses, tools, worksheets, and resources through the member portal at portal.greencredit.ca.
GreenCredit is not a licensed financial adviser, mortgage broker, credit counsellor, investment adviser, or regulated financial institution under any applicable Canadian law. Nothing provided through GreenCredit constitutes financial advice, investment advice, credit counselling, or any regulated financial service.
The welcome bonus is a promotional cashback benefit offered as an incentive for enrollment. It is not a loan, cash advance, line of credit, or financial product of any kind. GreenCredit membership fees are collected in exchange for access to educational content and materials only.
GreenCredit reserves the right to deny membership to any applicant at its sole discretion. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or entitlement to a welcome bonus. All information provided must be accurate, truthful, and complete.
By completing enrollment, the Member represents and warrants that:
Any misrepresentation constitutes an immediate material breach entitling GreenCredit to terminate the membership and pursue promotional benefit recovery under Section 5.
Upon approval, Members select a plan that determines the subscription term, number of scheduled payments, and associated welcome bonus amount:

All plans include access to the same educational courses and member portal. The welcome bonus amount and subscription term are the only differentiating factors between plans.
By enrolling, Members authorize GreenCredit to collect membership payments automatically through Zumrails, our designated payment processing partner, in accordance with the payment schedule of the selected plan. Payments are scheduled to align with the Member's verified pay cycle.
If a scheduled installment fails to process due to insufficient funds or a closed/blocked account, GreenCredit will notify the Member by email and SMS and reattempt collection on the Member's next verified pay cycle. A Failed Payment Administration Fee of $60.00 CAD will be applied to the Member's account for each unsuccessful payment attempt.
A Member may request to defer a scheduled installment to a later date by contacting hello@greencredit.ca prior to the payment date. An Installment Deferral Fee of $40.00 CAD applies per deferral request, subject to GreenCredit's approval. Deferrals are not guaranteed and are granted at GreenCredit's sole discretion.
All membership payments are final and non-refundable. Once a payment has been processed, no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including cancellation, dissatisfaction with content, or failure to access the member portal.
All approved Members are eligible to receive the welcome bonus associated with their selected plan. The bonus is disbursed as a single lump-sum Interac e-Transfer to the verified bank account, typically within 30 minutes of enrollment approval. In the event of technical issues, disbursement may take up to 3 business days.
The welcome bonus is a promotional cashback benefit provided as an incentive for membership enrollment. It is not a loan, credit advance, financial product, or regulated service. Receipt of the welcome bonus does not create a creditor-debtor relationship between GreenCredit and the Member.
The welcome bonus is expressly conditional upon the Member fulfilling all payment obligations under their selected plan. The bonus is not earned or vested until all scheduled installments have been successfully completed.
In the event of cancellation, non-payment, or breach of this Agreement, GreenCredit shall be entitled to recover the promotional benefit through one of the following remedies at GreenCredit's sole discretion:
The Member must confirm their elected path within 5 business days of notice. Failure to respond initiates the Account Resolution process (Section 8). This obligation survives cancellation, termination, or expiry of this Agreement.
Upon enrollment, Members are granted non-exclusive, non-transferable access to the GreenCredit member portal. Portal access is personal and may not be shared or transferred. GreenCredit reserves the right to modify, update, or remove content at any time. Such changes do not affect payment obligations.
Members may request cancellation at any time by contacting hello@greencredit.ca. However, cancellation does not relieve the Member of their payment obligations. The Member remains liable for the full outstanding balance of all remaining scheduled payments, or must return the welcome bonus per Section 5C.
Memberships cannot be paused, deferred, or placed on hold. Any request to pause a subscription will be treated as a cancellation subject to Section 7A.
In the event of the death of a Member, the outstanding membership obligation will be reviewed and may be waived at GreenCredit's sole discretion upon receipt of appropriate documentation. Contact hello@greencredit.ca.
GreenCredit maintains an internal Account Resolution process for the recovery of outstanding balances and unreturned welcome bonuses. This process is conducted entirely in-house by GreenCredit's Member Services team. GreenCredit does not engage third-party collection agencies.
Account Resolution communications may be delivered by email, SMS, or phone. The Member agrees to engage cooperatively and in good faith. GreenCredit reserves all rights under applicable law to recover amounts owed.
By completing the GreenCredit enrollment process, you expressly authorize GreenCredit to initiate an Instant Bank Verification (IBV) on your bank account through our approved IBV providers, currently Inverite and/or Flinx.
This authorization permits GreenCredit and its IBV providers to:
The IBV process does not give GreenCredit or its providers the ability to move, withdraw, or transfer funds from your account. IBV is used solely for verification purposes. Your banking credentials are never stored by GreenCredit.
By completing the GreenCredit enrollment process, you provide express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL, S.C. 2010, c. 23) to receive the following categories of commercial electronic messages from GreenCredit by email and SMS:
This consent is provided knowingly and voluntarily as part of the enrollment process and applies to both email (delivered via SendGrid) and SMS (delivered via Heymarket).
You may withdraw consent to marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email, replying STOP to any SMS, or contacting hello@greencredit.ca. Unsubscribe requests will be processed within 10 business days as required by CASL. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect your receipt of transactional communications while your membership remains active.
For greater certainty, your consent to receive transactional communications โ including payment reminders and Account Resolution messages โ cannot be withdrawn while any outstanding balance remains on your account, as these communications are necessary for the administration of your membership.
GreenCredit provides educational content for general informational purposes only. GreenCredit shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Member's use of or reliance on any educational content, tools, or materials. Members are solely responsible for all financial decisions and are encouraged to consult a licensed financial professional.
The Member agrees to first submit a written dispute notice to hello@greencredit.ca. GreenCredit will acknowledge within 5 business days and provide a substantive response within 15 business days.
If unresolved within 30 days, both parties agree to non-binding mediation before a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing any other legal remedy. Costs are shared equally. GreenCredit's right to pursue Account Resolution operates independently of this process.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws of the Member's province of residence (excluding the Province of Quebec). Disputes shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.

These Terms of Service ("TOS") govern your use of the GreenCredit website (greencredit.ca), member portal (portal.greencredit.ca), and all associated digital services and communications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
To access GreenCredit services, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

All content, branding, logos, course materials, tools, designs, and technology on GreenCredit platforms are the intellectual property of GreenCredit, protected under Canadian copyright, trademark, and applicable law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access portal content solely for your personal, non-commercial use during your active membership term. This licence does not permit copying, redistribution, or creation of derivative works.

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. GreenCredit is not responsible for third-party practices but selects partners meeting appropriate security and privacy standards.
GreenCredit aims to provide continuous platform access but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary unavailability due to maintenance, technical failures, or third-party outages does not entitle members to refunds or cancellation.
Initiating an unauthorized chargeback or payment reversal after receiving your welcome bonus and portal access constitutes a material breach of your membership agreement. In such event, GreenCredit reserves the right to:
GreenCredit shall not be liable for any delay or failure resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical outages affecting Zumrails, Interac, Inverite, Flinx, or other providers; banking system delays; regulatory intervention; cybersecurity incidents; or acts of God. A force majeure delay does not constitute a breach of this Agreement and does not entitle the Member to cancel, withhold payment, or seek compensation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GreenCredit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of GreenCredit services, breach of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws of your province of residence (excluding the Province of Quebec). If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary and remaining provisions remain in full force.
